The Great Mouse Detective

I saw The Girl with the dragon tattoo yesterday where Lisbeth is beautifully played.

Which made me realize a great difference between France and the rest of the world

In an other sort of job, which is investigator or, more glamorously called: private detective.

Since Sherlock Holmes was born they always seem to be some kind of subversive,

Even Eddie Valliant had to be a bit crazy to go find out who framed Roger Rabbit.

Guys like Mr Jane or Mr Spencer may be normal but certainly aren’t considered like it.

Betty had her own personal madness in her Curse of the Jade Scorpion’s part.

To find a regular detective we have to go back to The Big Sleep with Humphrey Bogart

When in France it’s more like pictured in Midnight in Paris: lots of dust and less madness.

US detectives are certainly the type to have a catchphrase, everybody has one in the US.
